What is this, the airport? You must show ID and pull your mask down so they can see your face to get in. You have to clear a security checkpoint to get into the casino, and can’t bring in any beverages. Yet, Belterra still feels it is appropriate to charge $11 a day “resort fee”? Really? Only Nosh, the Starbucks-style coffee shop, and Stadium, the sports bar were open. The buffet, the five star restaurant, and most of the shops were closed. The room was clean and comfortable, good water pressure, no issues there. We did have a low rate, but that room was so doggone classic that it was as far away as could be with a “classic” view of the air conditioners. I was later informed by the front desk that I had a “Classic” room. Even security couldn’t believe the put us way out there.
We got our room, which we found to at the furthest distance the hotel. Very impressive interior, but there was hardly anyone there. We found out the Indiana governor had lifted the statewide mask mandate, but you wouldn’t know it at Belterra. You pull up out front like you would for the valet but.no valet.
